Creed and Sloan (Jailbait) was nothing like I expected. It was hot, without the sexual activity. It was exciting, thrilling and a page turner. The writer developed to characters that loved each other despite the age difference and never once did they stammer in their morals, dearest and delivery.

There was so many twists and turns in this volume but the loyalty and botherood within this guild was strong and withstood then many tests.
I swooned for Creed I adored him in every since of the give-and-take. Jailbait grew and so much when she had the dear of q man and the backing of an MC family.
I couldn't put this boo down once I started, I won't lie and say there are some topics that striking home and I shed tears over but the overall plot and character evolution was superbly written.

Sloane "Jailbait" was an amazing character. I actually liked how strong and loyal she is. Loved the niggling twists, quick storyline, and the Insta allure that Creed had for her.
Want to give my Book Buddy Josie props for recommending this book. This was my start read by this author and won't be the last. Tin can't wait for April for book 2 and Cords story.

New-to-me author
This was a good, action packed MC read. Loyalty and love are tested. Brotherhood is proven. It was an enjoyable read but I would have liked a little more heat.
Nonetheless, given all that, I however believe that t
It has a expert story going on but this book doesn't speak MC to me, IMO. I never felt the camaraderie between the MC brothers and with all the lies and secrets going on, brothers keeping things to themselves and non sharing to their society's President? Add in the fact that the sacred Church thing tin can happen outside their coming together room? I felt weirded out reading this. No steam and no sexy times as well (understable since heroine is under 18 years onetime). All the same, given all that, I even so believe that this series has a potential. It still poked my curiosity for me to still want to read the others in the series and just hope that it will eventually give me the MC vibes I needed in this series. It ways this book is engaging enough and entertaining plenty. I think information technology'south departure between the other books I've read is also a practiced matter. At least good affair for me. I'd still rec this 1 just for it being dissimilar if you lot're tired of reading the same MC books.
P.S. There may be some other woman drama but IMO, the OW is an ex of the hero and the drama didn't take upward a couple of pages in the story and not irritating and heartbreaking at all. OW ended upward existence prissy to the heroine and not at all a general b*tch.

Short hand; this book is a nifty read. The characters are well developed and the story is intriguing. The FMC is a modest throughout the majority of the book (just shy of 17) and we never know the direct age of the MMC, though the vibe of the volume pegs him to be (to me) in his early to mid xx's. Short paw; this volume is a great read. The characters are well adult and the story is intriguing. The FMC is a small-scale throughout the bulk of the book (just shy of 17) and we never know the directly age of the MMC, though the vibe of the book pegs him to exist (to me) in his early to mid twenty's. Every issue that comes up in the book is resolved before the end, it's a consummate stand lone and the but connexion to the next book seems to be the characters and location, but will exist centered on new main characters. I'm certain some of the events from this book volition carry over, merely like I said, everything between the MCs is resolved and finished. The book is well written, I just noticed a few grammer errors, and the writing flows nicely. The FMC is a strong immature adult female who realizes that not everyone gets an easy life and that you accept to choose how you're going to live. The MMC is a bada** mc who know's how to get sh*t done, but is also someone that has a soft center to those he loves. Through the volume he's very protective of his brother and the FMC later on he saves her. The gradual romance of the MCs is something I actually appreciate in this book. They grow to depend on i some other, but because of the age difference and the FMC being under age, its non a typical romance, it'southward something pure and wholesome (with a splash of typical biker/mc craziness to make information technology better.) I will say that this book isn't for anybody, but I definitely recommend it to everyone anyways.

Honestly these spoilers are just because I don't agree with the negative reviews on this book. Everything below is based on my personal opinion, with some details from the volume to prove my point. It'due south probably not needed and you'll probably waste more fourth dimension reading information technology than annihilation, simply I'thou still adding it for the Authors benefit and to whatever other readers who hold with me.
The offset affair I want to say, is that not everything has to accept sexual activity in it. I understand that it seems like the majority of readers demand those scenes (personally I don't mind either way, merely honestly it gets to the indicate in some books that I skip over them) but not everyone wants them. It's terrible that this book has negative reviews considering there's no sexual practice, rather the heroine is of historic period at the cease or not. Honestly, I remember the book was better non having it.
Secondly, yes some sixteen year olds have a higher maturity level than others and can act similar they're years older then what they are. I happen to accept been one of them. Some situations you grow upwards in make you mentally age faster and y'all tend to be on a different level than others your own age. Either the kid grows upwards fast or they become overly kittenish and hardly never deed like an 'adult' for it. In this books instance, growing upwards with a single mom, and hardly having anything other than the necessities, is a big factor in that. Pair that with her mother literally trying her best to make sure her girl endemic upwardly to everything she did, and doing her all-time to brand her strong, is another huge cistron. Again, a person can go either mode. They tin can choose to ignore it all and revert each time, or they tin can accept it and grow, which is what pur FMC did. She grew up.
The other issue this seemed to cause for some readers, is that apparently the FMC couldn't get scared and go into shock because she was supposed to be mature? Anyone at any age can go through shock that leaves you nearly mindless. Of course the FMC would exist scared running for her life with her mother, and in one case her mom dies she'due south not supposed to exist in shock? It'due south very plausible that she can go from scared and unsure to standing upwards to the mcs president. At that point she either needs to own up or surrender. She had a option to brand, 1 she didn't have hardly any time to consider, and she took her shot at it, which worked in her favor. She grieved and acknowledged that information technology was all a little crazy, but in the terminate (similar middle-ish of volume) she realized that she had a new family unit with them. She picked upward on the mc life and she adjusted to it, the quicker the better, which she did. She choose to be who and what she wanted to exist.
If yous read this far, I hope nothing I said put y'all off from reading this book, but to each their own. If you were opposed to reading it, and now want to afterward reading all this, then awesome yous totally should! If you read this all and retrieve it just wasted your time, then lamentable, but I did warn you earlier reading it.

I acknowledge, the title of the book pulled me in, what can I say I like things that spring out at me and might exist a piddling scrap controversial. There is a little flake of a age gap here, but I think it matters more than in this case because Sloan is 16 when the book starts. MC FamilyI admit, the title of the book pulled me in, what tin I say I similar things that jump out at me and might be a little bit controversial. There is a little fleck of a age gap here, but I think it matters more in this case because Sloan is 16 when the book starts. This is an MC book, and then a lot of it revolves around the clubhouse, only if your looking for a lot of risqué this book talks about it, simply doesn't prove it similar you find in some other books. Information technology definitely does take the violence you expect to find in an MC volume though.
I think for Sloan this book is very much a coming of age volume. When it starts her and her mom are running from someone who had browbeaten her pretty badly. That same person runs them off the road, killing her mom; enter Creed who rescues her, brings her back to club, and gets her protection. She'southward manifestly sad and scared and withdrawn when the book starts, but with Creed standing behind her she really comes out of her shell and has this great strength. I loved how she advocated for other people, how she care for other, how quickly the club became her family unit and had her loyalty. I besides liked that she didn't shrink away from the more messy parts of MC life. Watching her stand up on her own 2 anxiety was great.
As for Creed, what'south not to like. He puts his life on hold and on the line to protect a daughter he doesn't know because it'due south the right thing to do. He's kind and gentle with her, and let'due south her and everyone else know he is there for her no matter what. Creed is also a good blood brother to Crew, fifty-fifty when Crew is a little snot. I liked the friendships he has with the MC, and he's but likable.
There isn't a lot of hot and heavy in this book at all (see the title), so if that's what you are looking for, go somewhere else. But at that place is emotional bear on, which is what I like in a volume, so I'one thousand 100% happy with this book, and volition probably practise a reread in the future.
Hmm, romance-wise and plot-wise, Jailbait may non exist the most original. Notwithstanding, this is probably the beginning MC romace read that I enjoyed reading from starting time to end. No blench factor whatsoever. I think the characters themselves sold the whole read though.

The first MC romance that didn't grate on my nerves. The first hero from MC romance that I adore. And the very outset heroine from MC romance that I also adore and respect and relate with.Hmm, romance-wise and plot-wise, Jailbait may not be the most original. All the same, this is probably the commencement MC romace read that I enjoyed reading from offset to end. No cringe factor any. I remember the characters themselves sold the whole read though.
Though the heroine is conspicuously underage when the story started, no sexual relationship started until the time the heroine tin can legally consent to a sexual relationship. Anyway - and I don't mean to utter a flimsy excuse nor do I desire to undermine the laws between an adult and a minor - the heroine is beyond mature. She'southward mature in words and deportment. Her ain life fabricated that happen - and she obviously dealt with it gracefully. The way she interacted with the MC members, the women surrounding the club, and overall all the people she encountered with, I could even admit she even acted more mature than most. Just at the aforementioned time, she's got the warmth and brightness to her and none of the hardened heart of an adult. There's nothing more accurate to explain her personal story than those sentences.
The hero. I don't remember I caught the actual historic period of the hero, just implied throughout he's def an older man. Give me an bodily grown-upward, his wisdom showing from his deportment. I really don't care much for overgrown men who withal threw tantrums in their own style and OTT when showing his blastoff tendencies and whatnot.
I felt like it's been short but real equally if I easily continued with the whole cast.

I got through 60% of this book before I stopped. This volume was but so unrealistic there was no indicate finishing it and these were my biggest problems:

And let's delve into that, she's xvi but has the attitude of a 23+ yr old. And she didn't outset out that way. She'due south 16! And they kinda let her, and then she calls some shots?? She'southward a kid in a grownup world. This is just too tall of a tale to continue. At to the lowest degree make her 17 a week abroad from her 18th.
2. No steamy scenes menses. ( I read the reviews just to make sure that maybe considering I didn't finish the volume I would've missed out). And when y'all think of it it's for the best that there weren't steamy scenes with the chief lead who's I don't fifty-fifty know how old, but considered the VP, and a SIXTEEN yr former. Then I hateful that's at to the lowest degree something in the books favor. Just allow's fourth dimension out, why would I read an MC romance and not read for that steam factor??? I'm non reading it bc I intendance about motorcycle gangs. There is such a pitter-patter factor that the male person atomic number 82 is lusting afterwards this kid.

This was a cute effort at dabbling into the MC world I just hope it gets better from here.

Not coooool, actually kind of creepy and uncomfortable. Nevertheless, information technology really is a Actually interesting and intriguing book. The sexual suspense is everything, I live for it, and this volume was chalked full of it.
Our leading man, Creed, saves our sweet heroine, Sloan, from a car crash that kills her female parent instantly. She was running from her female parent's current boyfriend after he tried to rape her. The car crash leaves her more dilapidated than she already is and when Creed sees her, his middle belongs to her instantly. He calls her Jailbait as a reminder to himself and the balance of the men in his motorcycle gang that she is underaged. It's really very sweet. He takes wonderful intendance of her and puts her first, above almost everything else.
This book is full of stolen glances and flirty comments, but nothing past a PG rating (sex wise). Murder is a whole other story, simply I won't get into that. Anyway, it's a perfect pallet cleanser! I'd requite it 4 stars 🙂

I liked how much of a fit Jailbait was with the guild. There was some button back in the beginning, but it didn't take long for her to make a place for herself.
It was annoyingly convenient, if not sickly sweet, that Creed went away long enough for her to exist legal. So the story could become a fast forward and we could see it was working out for them.
Too many tears have I shed over Deacon. And stupid racist a-holes. Even though it was actually Monty, and it didn't seem to play a gene in his bodily demise.
Here'southward hoping the rest of the serial opens up to the ladies getting more out of their lives in human relationship to the club. And something like Fat Willy non coming to pass again. Thankfully, he got his just desserts.
